Temperatures rise Tuesday as southwest winds usher in the heat and moisture under mostly clear skies. High temperatures will be about 10 degrees above average and will approach 90 degrees for much of the region with cooler spots in the lower 80s closer to the coast. Lows Tuesday night will be in the middle 60s.
The next frontal system will approach the region from the west late on Wednesday with clouds increasing during the afternoon.
