The low that affected the region Saturday will move well to the northeast today and tonight. There will be a chance of isolated flurries across portions of northeastern New Jersey and the lower Hudson Valley this afternoon.
Temperatures will be near to slightly above seasonal normal, peaking at 40 to 45 degrees early this afternoon.
The high will build slowly toward the region tonight and Monday, settling over the area by mid to late in the week. The arctic cold moves in later tonight and remains into Tuesday, with temperatures slightly below seasonal normal. Lows tonight will be in the mid teens inland to the lower 20s along the coast.
Monday`s highs will remain below freezing, in the mid 20s to around 30.
