Conditions will be mostly dry through Saturday with high pressure over the region. Low temps will still be cold, in the 20s, except around 30 for the New York City metro area.
The region will undergo a MAJOR warming trend through the weekend, with highs on Friday in the 40s and lower 50s.
By Saturday, temperatures will warm to the mid 50s to possibly even some lower 60s. This is around 20 degrees above normal.
The next chance for rain will come Sunday as a cold front approaches from the west, along with the possibility of some record setting high temperatures.
Areas of patchy fog and drizzle will then develop into Friday as temperatures climb back above normal.
