High pressure over the area today will slide offshore tonight as cloud cover increases ahead of the next low pressure system approaching from the west.
Winds will gradually increase from the southwest tonight as low temperatures drop into the middle and lower 40s.
High temperatures on Friday will be in the middle 50s during the day before a cold front moves through the area from west to east in the afternoon and early evening. Though most of the area should remain dry, a chance of showers is possible especially into the early afternoon Friday. Winds increase through the day with gusts 25-35 mph possible into the evening before tapering down overnight into Saturday morning. Low temperatures Friday night into Saturday morning drop into the upper 20s and low 30s. High pressure briefly moves in for Saturday with clear skies, dry conditions, and high temps in the middle 40s.
By Saturday night, another developing low pressure system pushes into the area from the southwest bringing rain late Saturday night and into the day on Sunday.
