Light winds in the morning will become southerly as the high shifts to the east of the area.
Winds won`t be super strong but we may see some gusts up to 20 mph through the afternoon. The southerly flow will help to moderate the temperatures a bit and daytime highs are expected to be a few degrees warmer than Sunday.
With plenty of sunshine around it should feel really nice for early November although it will be slightly below normal for temperatures. Highs will get up into the mid to upper 50s, with some 40s across the southern Poconos and portions of northwestern New Jersey.
Heading towards the end of the week, a stronger upper level trough and cold front look more and more likely that they will affect the area. Guidance continues to vary on timing and placement of the precip which would have significant impacts on precip amounts and type. Should trends be that the lifts further north, we could see some early season snows for the Poconos and parts of northern New Jersey. This will be something to watch and make adjustments for as the week progresses.
